My client was refused the exchange of her driver’s license in France. Meanwhile, her husband, whose documents were submitted at the same time, successfully obtained a French license. The reason for the refusal was allegedly a missed deadline for submitting documents.
The deadline is counted from the moment of validation of the visa D, that is, from the moment of actual residence in France, not from the date of issuance of the visa. We appealed the decision by sending a registered letter and explaining that the refusal was made in error. As a result, we received a positive decision. Now the client can reapply for the exchange of her driver’s license.
