Changes in France from June 1, 2026

Изменения во Франции с 1 июня 2026 года - новые правила и изменения в экономической политике страны

Changes in France from June 1, 2026: salary increases, gas price reductions, new rules for financial organizations, and summer sales.

From June 1, 2026, significant changes will take place in various sectors in France. The minimum wage will increase by 2.41%, amounting to €12.31 gross per hour or €1,867.02 gross per month. This will provide full-time workers with an increase of approximately €34 net per month.
Minimum rates for domestic workers will also rise. Housekeepers will earn €12.61 gross per hour, while nannies and childcare workers will earn €12.89 gross per hour.
In June, the reference price for gas will decrease by approximately 4.8%, which will affect consumers with tariffs linked to the gas market index.
For low-income households using a vehicle for work, a new fuel bonus of €100 per vehicle will be introduced, subject to income conditions.
Financial organizations, such as banks and insurance companies, will be required to provide clients with more detailed information before signing a contract, including the total cost of services, fees, and the procedure for withdrawing from the contract.
Requirements for websites and platforms will be strengthened, especially regarding so-called “dark patterns” that push users towards undesirable decisions.
From mid-June, it will be possible to book sea trips with a captain in Cannes, Nice, Saint-Tropez, and Marseille through the Uber app.
Summer sales in France will begin on June 24 and last until July 21, 2026.
