In France, there are two equivalents of the digital nomad visa.
The first is the Visiteur status. It is suitable for those who have a stable income outside of France and wish to reside in France. The residence permit is issued for one year with the possibility of annual renewal.
The second is the ‘Talent – Innovative Project’ status. It is suitable for those who want to start or develop their business in France using modern technologies, such as a website, application, or online platform. This status is granted for up to 4 years and allows for business development in France, as well as the opportunity to obtain French citizenship in a shorter timeframe, provided that the legal conditions are met.
